We're so glad you're here!
Donna M. Cramer is a retired special education teacher turned author who brings heart, resilience, and a deep sense of compassion to everything she writes. Based in Massachusetts, Donna spent over two decades working with young children with special needs, helping them navigate their early years with care and patience.
After sustaining a life-changing brain injury while working in the classroom, Donna began a new chapter—one shaped by healing and self-discovery. As she recovered, writing became a powerful way for her to express herself, especially when speech felt out of reach. What started as a therapeutic outlet has blossomed into a meaningful new career as an author.
Today, Donna continues to write from her coastal home, drawing inspiration from the beach walks, her yoga practice, and the quiet support of her husband and two beloved Maine Coon cats. Her journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and love—and her writing reflects that enduring belief in hope. No matter how distant or faint it may seem, hope is always within reach.
Donna is the author of four published books, with a fifth on the way. Her Lester Lion children’s series includes:
Lester Lion Wants to Roar
Lester Lion Calls 911
Lester Lion Loses Grandpa
She also writes for adult readers. Her debut novel Paul Is Missing and her newest release Vegas Goodbye showcase her emotional depth and storytelling range. A sequel to Vegas Goodbye is coming soon!
Take a look around, learn more about Donna’s books, and join her on a journey of courage, healing, and hope.
